Shattered was founded by Tony Pettry in 2014 and obtained the copyright on the band name. The band had its ups and downs getting our cd recorded and released named "PRIDE" which has been released on Oct. 04th, 2017. Its hard to define the style of metal we play because of so many influences from the 80's to current. Our website launched in 2016 to find more information. WWW.SHATTERED727.COM. We are located in the Tampa Bay Area and honored to be in such a great metal scene which also is the death metal capital of the world. SPR (VIMH): Hi guys, congrats on your new album Skinwalker
SPR (VIMH): What do the lyrics talk about? Which are your major lyrics’ influences?
SHATTERED: Change and my personal influences are King Diamond, Kiss, Danzig and so many more.
SPR (VIMH): Which are those elements that separate your new album from your previous albums?
SHATTERED: The last album had a lot of politics in it and Skinwalker is bringing us out of that era.
SPR (VIMH): How would you characterize “Skinwalker” and what are your expectations from the new album?
SHATTERED: The album is going to be very brutal and will feature Shattered as a whole different style.
SPR (VIMH): How did you come up with the name Shattered initially?
SHATTERED: I was really wanting to play heavier music than I currently was playing so in 2014 Shattered was formed.
SPR (VIMH): How would you describe your music style to someone that hasn’t heard of you before?
SHATTERED: Shattered is a mix of Thrash / Black Metal and Old / New school metal. Very twisted.
