Head Honcho – Appetite for Distraction

For this review we have Seattle punk rockers Head Honcho.

Head Honcho released their first album, “On the Wings of Brick” in 2013, and they described as “a good 'ole kick in the nards.”.

Their new EP, “Appetite for Distraction”, is no different. The EP is just over 16 minutes long with 7 songs of hard driving Pacific Northwest Punk. “But So It Is” kicks off the EP and it jumps straight into the pit and starts to body check everyone in sight. The track “Mantooth” is a straight punk track and is a great song to really get you pumped up.

The entire EP is awesome, it sounds great, and is so much fun to listen to. If you don't know who Head Honcho is, you will soon. With their energetic live shows and music, they will have you dancing the second they fire up the amplifiers.

This gets a solid 9/10 on the Furious-ness meter. The album dropped on May 1st on Snatchee records.

Stay furious,

Bill “Furious” Groen
