2020 was a weird year, and it forced everyone to step back and look at things in new ways. With quarantines in place The Hellfreaks began to look back on the songs from their album 'God On the Run'. Without being able to fully tour the new songs, the Hellfreaks started looking at their songs in new ways.
'Red Sky' was a single off of 'God On the Run' which came out in 2019, this marks the first time that they have ever recorded an acoustic version of any of their songs. Taking 'Red Sky' acoustic takes the song in an entirely new direction, and the musical nuances are able to shine more. Hopefully this won't be the last time we hear an acoustic rendition from The Hellfreaks.
